Texas National Outfitters - Houston
Reviewed the world over as THE preeminent handmade cowboy boot source, Texas National Outf...itters (TNO) prides itself on furthering Texas culture through the traditions of exceptional quality and attention to detail. We started as a small specialty shop in Katy Texas dedicated to designing and selling the finest handmade boots in the industry along with supporting local artisans that create unique products.
The focus on local and unique helped define TNO and soon the expansion to the heart of Texas came calling - the SoCo area of Austin. We are uncompromising in the pursuit of quality and redefining the overall shopping experience. If you have ever been to the TNO Austin location you will know that live music and an amazing atmosphere are the hallmarks of the store. TNO brought on some the finest bootmakers from around Texas and soon the reputation for custom boots and repairs was cemented (our Master Bootmaker has made boots for 7 Presidents). In 2014 the Flagship location in Houston took shape with the vision that the founder wanted since TNO’s inception (Texas’ finest products, handmade in front of you in a laid back environment). The store is a shrine to Texas history complete with the custom boot shop in back, a permanent live music stage, and leather workers hand-tooling products in the retail space. Today the Houston store boasts a huge selection of handmade products that are shipped all over the world.
TNO is much more than a retail store - book a private party in store, have us come out to your corporate event, let us outfit and entertain your wedding party, we'll make your employees unique gifts, or just come experience the ultimate feeling of designing your own custom boots - the finest in Texas. We are intent on making cowboy boots span genres and cultures, while trying not to polarize boots just for rodeo. Cowboy boots exude an sense of independent bravado that are perfectly suited for boardroom or the ranch and everything in between. Our handmade boots are extremely comfortable and allow you to show off your independent spirit.
We support over 50 local artisans that make a bulk of our product for us. Much of this is unique and not on the website so make it a point to stop in to our Katy, Austin, or Houston location for very cool gear and come back frequently because it is always changing. Our goal is to utilize the amazing artisans that are all around us and create something that will be treasured for a lifetime. We are not a big-box store and never will be. We support the community and support Texas culture. We want to greet you as a friend and have you as a customer forever.
God Bless Texas!

“A little bit of country in the heart of the city”
Wabash Antiques and Feed Store (or Washington Avenue Bric-a-brac, Antiques, Sundries, and Hardware, as it was known in its early days) is a Houston institution. For over a hundred years, Wabash has been helping this city grow, supplying feed, seed, and farming supplies to early settlers and today’s backyard gardener alike. While Houston has grown and changed around us, we’ve kept the traditions Wabash has stood for since the beginning, giving them a modern twist. You can see this spirit of updated tradition in our selection of organic solutions, our rustic imported antiques, and our knowledgeable, friendly staff.
While it’s true we are a feed store, we’re much more than that. We’re a hardware store, a pet shop, an organic herb garden and an antique market. We’re the only place in Houston you can find holistic pet treatments, vegetable and native plants, natural pet foods, bird feeders, fertilizer, an enormous selection of farm poultry AND cold beer under one barn roof. A rustic paradise, right in the heart of Houston. A piece of the past you can visit in the present. A little bit of the country in the heart of the city. That’s Wabash, and it’s all waiting for your visit.
Store Hours: M-F 9a-6p, Sat 830a-6p, Sun 10a-5p
Starting February 15, 2015, we’ll be open Sundays until 6p
SeaBreeze Hens are happy, healthy, and hand raised on our small farm in San Leon, Texas (between Houston and Galveston). I raise purebred hens and a few roosters that I hatch at home and/or arrive at a day old. My chickens and laying hens enjoy free range browsing as well as high protein feed, whole grains scattered for "scratching", and fresh fruits and vegetables.

Sunshine Farm is the place to experience life on a farm.
Our edible landscape provides nourishment for our family and community. We practice a variety of self-sustaning practices on our farm such as organic gardening, composting, water conservation, and unique garden designs. We are happy to show you these practices and share the information that we have learned (mostly the hard way) over the years. Not only do we want to provide you with an enjoyable adventure; we also want you to have an educationl experience when you visit our farm.
At Sunshine Farm we work hard to make and grow the finest things. We nurture a large variety of plants on an organic program: without the use of synthetic pesticides and herbicides; so you can rest easy and be confident that the produce that comes out of our gardens is good and good for you.
In addition to the homegrown food and plants we produce: we also raise and sell many animals. Our animals all live in a working farm environment and are cared for with the intent of creating a sustainable lifestyle.
We not only like to pay close attention to the food quality that we put in our bodies; but the quality of the things we use ON and AROUND our bodies. We hand-craft an entire line of artisan skin care and home care products. Our workshop is right here on the farm and we only use the highest quality,
non-toxic, natural ingredients.
Take a close look and you will see that it's all about learning, growing and enjoying the basic things in life here at Sunshine Farm.
