FM is a place to celebrate all that Houston has to offer. In particular, the artists that love and populate the city. In the hope of honoring that legacy and continuing to provide a venue for expression and creativity, we invite you to celebrate our city in a space dedicated to an experience for all the senses.

AndyRoo & the AndyRooniverse

"AndyRoo’s music inspires children’s imagination. They were hopping on imaginary hopscotches, brushing their teeth, and swinging through the trees like chimpanzees. Their smiling faces showed the joy that AndyRoo’s music can bring."

-Cara Clark, Coordinator of the Discovery Room, Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History

The AndyRooniverse is made of the expanding landscape of every child’s imagination! Join AndyRoo on a musical journey to a town of animals, where you’ll encounter Silly Sal the Salamander, Monkeys climbing trees, and an affable Platypus.

AndyRoo has been a featured performer at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, on Radio Disney AM 1590 and at the 2011 Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show. His motto is simple: Explore a new place with a smile on your face! His debut album, Welcome to the AndyRooniverse, was recorded in part at the Children's Museum of Houston.

“A little bit of country in the heart of the city”

Wabash Antiques and Feed Store (or Washington Avenue Bric-a-brac, Antiques, Sundries, and Hardware, as it was known in its early days) is a Houston institution. For over a hundred years, Wabash has been helping this city grow, supplying feed, seed, and farming supplies to early settlers and today’s backyard gardener alike. While Houston has grown and changed around us, we’ve kept the traditions Wabash has stood for since the beginning, giving them a modern twist. You can see this spirit of updated tradition in our selection of organic solutions, our rustic imported antiques, and our knowledgeable, friendly staff.

While it’s true we are a feed store, we’re much more than that. We’re a hardware store, a pet shop, an organic herb garden and an antique market. We’re the only place in Houston you can find holistic pet treatments, vegetable and native plants, natural pet foods, bird feeders, fertilizer, an enormous selection of farm poultry AND cold beer under one barn roof. A rustic paradise, right in the heart of Houston. A piece of the past you can visit in the present. A little bit of the country in the heart of the city. That’s Wabash, and it’s all waiting for your visit.

SeaBreeze Hens are happy, healthy, and hand raised on our small farm in San Leon, Texas (between Houston and Galveston).   I raise purebred hens and a few roosters that  I hatch at home and/or arrive at a day old.  My chickens and laying hens enjoy free range browsing as well as high protein feed, whole grains scattered for "scratching", and fresh fruits and vegetables.

Sunshine Farm is the place to experience life on a farm.

Our edible landscape provides nourishment for our family and community. We practice a variety of self-sustaning practices on our farm such as organic gardening, composting, water conservation, and unique garden designs. We are happy to show you these practices and share the information that we have learned (mostly the hard way) over the years. Not only do we want to provide you with an enjoyable adventure; we also want you to have an educationl experience when you visit our farm.

At Sunshine Farm we work hard to make and grow the finest things. We nurture a large variety of plants on an organic program: without the use of synthetic pesticides and herbicides; so you can rest easy and be confident that the produce that comes out of our gardens is good and good for you.

In addition to the homegrown food and plants we produce: we also raise and sell many animals. Our animals all live in a working farm environment and are cared for with the intent of creating a sustainable lifestyle.

We not only like to pay close attention to the food quality that we put in our bodies; but the quality of the things we use ON and AROUND our bodies. We hand-craft an entire line of artisan skin care and home care products. Our workshop is right here on the farm and we only use the highest quality,

non-toxic, natural ingredients.

Take a close look and you will see that it's all about learning, growing and enjoying the basic things in life here at Sunshine Farm.
